He is a graduate of Delhi University (Kirori Mal College) and George Brown College in Toronto. As a Food and Nutrition specialist, Mr. Parshad is an active member of the Canadian Society of Management and holds certifications as a Certified Dietary Manager and Certified Food Protection Professional from the Association of Food and Nutrition Professionals, USA.
A dedicated member of UCAC since June 1992, Mr. Parshad has played a pivotal role in the organization’s development. He organized UCAC’s first Tennis Tournament in 1992 and the inaugural Sports Day on August 15, 1993—an event that has become a cherished annual tradition.
In his role on the Board of Directors, Mr. Parshad is committed to advancing UCAC’s Vision, Mission, and Core Values. He will ensure the strict implementation of UCAC Bylaws and foster a culture of understanding, accountability, and unity among executive and general members alike.

He has held senior leadership positions in multinational corporations across both India and Canada, demonstrating strategic acumen and cross-cultural insight. His academic journey spans both countries, having completed his education in India and furthered it in Canada.
Following a successful corporate career, Mr. Jakhwal transitioned into the real estate sector, where he has excelled as a licensed and award-winning Real Estate Broker for over a decade. His dedication to excellence and client service has earned him multiple industry accolades.
Mr. Jakhwal’s diverse experience, global perspective, and deep-rooted community values make him a tremendous asset to UCAC.

We are pleased to formally introduce Mr. Rawat as a returning official of UCA Canada for the upcoming term. Mr. Rawat brings with him a wealth of experience, a deep commitment to community service, and a longstanding association with our organization.
He first arrived in Canada in 2003 and was fortunate to connect with the founding members and pioneers of UCA Canada shortly thereafter. Since then, he has been an active and dedicated member, consistently offering his time and expertise to support the organization’s mission. His previous tenure as Vice President of UCAC is a testament to his leadership and unwavering dedication.
Beyond his contributions to UCA Canada, Mr. Rawat is a passionate advocate for community sports. He has been a prominent figure in the Greater Toronto Area’s cricket community, founding the UK Warriors Cricket Club and leading the team to victory in the 2013 T20 Brampton Cricket League Cup. He also served as Vice President of the Brampton Cricket League, where he played a key role in expanding access to cricket facilities, including the development of lighted grounds in collaboration with the City of Brampton.
Professionally, Mr. Rawat holds a degree in Electrical Engineering, earned in 1992 in India. He began his career with Maruti Suzuki’s OEM manufacturing plants in Delhi and Gurgaon. Since relocating to Canada, he has continued to excel in the manufacturing sector and has been managing the maintenance department of a steel processing plant for the past 15 years.

UCAC is proud to introduce Shaill Bahuguna, a versatile singer, songwriter, and long-standing member of our community. With a strong foundation in Hindustani classical music, Shaill Bahuguna has performed at numerous festivals and galas across the Greater Toronto Area, captivating audiences with her multilingual repertoire in Hindi, English, Cantonese, Mandarin, Swahili, Marathi, Garhwali, and Tamil.
She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Religious Studies from McMaster University and has previously served in the Investment Funds department at the Ontario Securities Commission. Today, Shaill Bahuguna leads multiple entrepreneurial ventures, including Brownbeezhive & Co. and Chakla Baylan Catering, while also supporting her daughter Kavya’s Lash Tech business, Fae Flutterz Studios.
Known for her organized, clean, and straightforward approach, Shaill Bahuguna brings these values to her contributions within UCAC. Having grown up in this community since her teenage years, she remains deeply connected and grateful for the opportunity to serve alongside her family.
